NMDC Limited has allocated INR 22 billion for infrastructure development in 2024-25 to double its iron ore output to 100 million tons annually by 2030.

The company planned to lay a slurry pipeline from Bacheli to Nagarnar, with a transport capacity of 15 million tons, supporting its new 3 million-ton steel plant.

NMDC is also building a 4-million-ton beneficiation plant in Bacheli and a 2-million-ton pellet plant in Nagarnar, with plans to expand the latter to 6 million tons.

Additionally, the company aims to start production at its 8-million-ton coking coal block by December 2025.
