Nippon Steel Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation have signed a revised contract with Brunei crude oil and natural gas producer Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad (BSP), extending the contract period of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) by ten years.

Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Corporation cooperated in supplying seamless OCTG to BSP for over 50 years. The two companies and Vallourec Tubes SAS contributed to local employment and supply OCTG locally in Brunei utilizing state-of-the-art OCTG threading facility VAM® BRN.
