One of India’s Karnataka state’s private iron ore processors, MSPL Limited has received three of the six railway rakes they ordered. MSPL use the six rakes ordered at a cost of Rs85 crore to help raise the efficiency as well as logistical costs of moving iron ore to Goa and New Mangalore ports for exports from the Bellary Hospet region mines. The orders were placed under a own your wagon scheme. MSPL expects to get two more rakes later this week and the remaining rake will be delivered early April. (Apr. 2)
