According to Mexico statistics showed in September of this year, Mexico’s iron ore production rose 6.5% year on year, to 753,010 tons.

During the first nine months of this year, Mexico’s iron ore total production fell to 0.3% year on year, while the country's mining and metal production index rose to 4.3% month on month, and an increase of 8.3% year on year.
