On December 29, 2022, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) of Malaysia initiated an administrative review of the current anti-dumping (AD) duty imposed on the imports of flat-rolled products of non-alloy steel plated or coated with aluminum and zinc from Vietnam’s Tan Phuoc Khanh Trading & Manufacturing Coil Steel Joint Stock Company, following an application from this applicant.

The request was made because the dumping margin on the subject products supplied by this applicant has changed substantially.

The final determination of this review will be made within 180 days from the date of initiation.

The final affirmative AD duty was imposed on Vietnam from 0% to 37.14%, valid for five years from December 12, 2020 to December 11, 2025.
