It is reported that Chinese CGI with thickness of 1.0mm to Taiwan this week, decreased by US$20/ton from the last offered. However, Taiwan’s CGI price remained flat, due to weak market demand so far. At the same time, Taiwan’s Chunghung cut the price of hot rolled and cold rolled coils by NTD300 –NTD400/ton for November. According to market participants pointed out, the price is likely to fall further and buyers are still waiting to see attitude.
