LME nickel prices yesterday (10th) fell again by US$95/ton, the spot price closed at US$8635/ton, those for three months futures closed at US$8685/ton.

The prices have dropped 9.7% to US$925/ton compared to the highest prices level in March and May.

Market analysis indicated that the nickel price movements cannot be continued strong in short term. It is difficult to make base metal continued strong, due to the market demand issue, the Canadian forest fire impact oil region and the United States is expected to raise interest rates and so on.
