The London Metal Exchange (LME) nickel price increased by US$129/ton and closed at US$16,749/ton on March 28. Meanwhile, the nickel spot price went up by US$215/ton to US$16,518/ton. The nickel inventory at LME increased by 312 tons to 77,148 tons.

Although the US dollar became strong, the US economy was still expected to be optimistic. Meanwhile, China’s stainless steel market recently began to rebound, and procurement activity gradually went up as well.
