In October, Kunming Iron and Steel rolling plant successfully developed and produced HRB400E-TB seismic reinforcement for railways of 1,587 tons. The first bar line rolled Ф18mm, Ф20mm, and Ф22mm, and the high bar line rolled Ф12mm and Ф16mm. After testing, all the indicators like product mechanical properties, seismic performance, and size control meet the standards.

During the production, the technical staff tracked the rolling situation of blanks, temperature, production speed, outer dimensions, mechanical properties, and packaging quality to ensure the finished product’s quality. In addition, they improved the frequency of inspections and controlled weight deviation and mechanical properties. As learned, the product qualification rate was 100%.
