In order to improve air pollution, Kaohsiung government has decided to strengthen the inspection of the petrochemical and steel industries in the two industrial zones of Linyuan and Linhai. It predicted that the test value of the exhaust gas will be added before the end of the year.

In Southern Taiwan, the air pollution was obviously deteriorating affected by the wind from October to February every year. Kaohsiung government stated that it was specifically targeted at the petrochemical industry and the steel industry, mainly for the inspection of exhaust emissions. It is expected that the air quality will be better through inspection.
