JSW Steel USA, Inc., a subsidiary of JSW Steel Ltd., has unveiled plans for a US$110 million investment in its Baytown, Texas, manufacturing facilities. The investment will focus on modernizing the steel plate mill with sustainable technology and cutting-edge equipment.

This initiative aims to enhance the company's ability to produce high-quality steel products and strengthen its position in niche markets through a specialized "Made in America" steel portfolio. The projects are anticipated to have a significant impact on reducing U.S. dependence on imports, particularly in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. The company expects to complete and commission these new projects by the fiscal year 2026.
