Reportedly, United Company RUSAL (UC RUSAL) pointed out that they’ve seen the positive outlook for aluminum, driven by Japan’s rebuild after the massive earthquake and disaster.

UC RUSAL predicted that Japan’s demand for aluminum would soar in the mid-long term to meet the demand from construction. Meanwhile, the company’s aluminum exports to Japan took 8% of its total exports.

The spokesman said that the company took the unique position to meet the needs from Japan and was more flexible to meet customer demand with a shorter delivery period.
