JFE Shoji Trade Corporation, a Japanese company, established JFE Shoji Steel Service Center Bajio (JSSB) in Mexico through its subsidiary in Mexico. This decision not only could meet the processing and sales of special steel for the automotive industry, but also could assist one of their long-term business partners, Prolasma Group, to expand its business.

JFE Shoji would work with JFE Steel's automotive steel products manufacturing facility to provide a better service through its long-term accumulated expertise and data distributed throughout the country's steel service centers.

The location of JSSB was located near NUCOR-JFE Steel Mexico, a joint venture between JFE Steel and Nucor Corporation.
