It would take effect in March 23rd that the US imposed a tax to the imported steel and aluminum. Partial Japan individual steel product might get the customs exemption like Canada, Mexico, and Australian.

The US president announced that 25% and 10 % tax would be charged in steel imports and aluminum imports individual which started from March 23rd. Besides, in March 19th, the US Department of Commerce began to implement the tax free application for those products related to steel and aluminum.

However, from foreign news, Japan Ministry of Economy stressed that the imports of Japanese steel and aluminum made a contribution to the US, and Japan would keep requiring the US for the reason of Japanese product imports in the name of no safety doubt.
