Shyam Steel is a major manufacturer of TMT rods in India. According to the report from Shyam Steel, its new plant located in Raghunathpur, Purulia district, was recently officially launched. The annual capacity of this new mill is about 1.19 million tons, and the total investment in this new factory is about US$180.9 million.

After the expansion, Shyam Steel's total production capacity will be increased to 4.03 million tons every year, and the growing domestic and international demand will be greatly met.
