It’s reported that Indian domestic steel sales are expected to rise by 7%~9% in the current fiscal year, according to the forecast of Indian Ministry of Steel.

In addition, the country’s domestic steel sales during April to August of this year totaled 28.05 million tons, up by 1.3% year on year.

It’s analyzed that the slight rise was because of the lack of anticipated growth in the local manufacturing and automobile industry and delayed construction projects impacted by the rainfall in June.
