Indian Vedanta Limited planned to realize 10 million tons of steel capacity within the next 6 years in their domestic market.

The corporation said that Indian steel capacity will keep expanding and it will be led by Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL), which was acquired by Vedanta with legal procedure.

This steel corporation is located in Jharkhand, with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons, which will increase to 3 million tons within 2 years and hiked gradually to 8 million tons per year.

Vedanta mentioned that it was still negotiating with some local government in order to build up a new steel mill, and West Bengal in the east of India was one of the considering locations.
