The Orissa state government staff officially confirmed the prolonged Posco steel plant project although there still exists " teething problems " on May 28.

Last week, Posco had already announced to proceed with construction activities in October although local opposition still ongoing.

For the lands the project need, only over a quarter is secured, but Posco still have confidence to complete it and scheduled the first phase by the end of 2010.

The concept of the residences and the government are different because they are in opposite stands.

How to peacefully resolve the problem would be depending on Posco and India government's wisdom to get a balance between 2 parties.
