It was reported that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved JSW Projects to acquire a majority shareholding in B.M.M. Ispat Limited.

BMM Ispat has been producing iron ore pellets since 2012, and it proved in 2017 that its annual production capacity reached 1 million tons at electric arc furnaces and 850,000 tons at merchant bar steel products.

As for JSW Projects, which was under JSW Group, was engaged in some items, including steelmaking, infrastructure at ports, and mining projects.
