According to statistics from the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), German crude steel output amounted to around 26.6 million tons in the first eight months of this year, increasing by nearly 17% compared to the same period a year ago.

In August alone, this country’s crude steel output reached 2.92 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. The growth rate slowed down during the period.
