Taiwan’s Feng Hsing cut their rebar and scrap prices again this week. The new quotation price of rebar will be reduced by NT$200/ton to NT$14, 900/ton. The price of scrap will be between NT$8, 400 and 8, 600/ton, showing a drop of NT$200/ton compared with that of last week. The weak market in southern Taiwan is the main reason behind the price drop.
