Europe's hot-rolled coil (HRC) market remained stable as buyers stayed on the sidelines and steel mills were in no hurry to collect orders due to uncertainty over car demand.

Some market participants with positive opinions believed that the lack of demand for cars will be offset by demand from heavy industry, white household appliances, and the construction industry.

Although the outlook for the next few months remains uncertain for cars, demand in other industries remains so good.
