The European hot-dip galvanized (HDG) steel market remained stable with low trading activities; however, due to the decrease in automotive industry’s demand, the available steel has risen, and import prices have also affected the domestic market.

With the commissioning of two HDG lines in Europe, the output was expected to increase next year. More cold-rolled coils (CRC) will be needed for steel production, which concerned the market due to the possible insufficient CRC supply.
