The European Non-Integrated Wire Rod Processors Association (EUNIRPA) recently expressed concern about anti-dumping case in the United States which imported wire rod from Belarus, Italy, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

Eunirpa believes that non-integrated wire processors in the United States are currently under threat, while American manufacturers, mostly in Europe, adopt vertical integration. The EU's overall consumption is growing and imports are stable in 2016, according to Eunirpa's steel-wire market data.
