India’s Essar Steel said it had acquired UK’s largest independent steel processor Servosteel (Oakside Solutions Ltd), whose annual capacity is 500,000 tons

Essar Steel is a global steel operator and has 8.6 million tons annual capacity while runs 7 steel service centers in India, Indonesia and Canada.

The company aims to tap the growing steel market by service to consumer industry. Servosteel is the first steel processor bought by Essar in England.
