It's reported that Eurofer planned to request to European Commission by end of the year, to carry out anti-dumping investigation against flat steel imports from China and other countries.

China's flat steel is the main point of this investigation. Eurofer's statistics show for the first five months of 2015, flat steel imported from China totals 150,000tons, 2.5 times over that of year 2014.

Meanwhile, CIS origin is also included in the investigation, but the impact of these countries is less than China. Ukraine’s exports to the EU totals 71,000 tons from Jan. to May, while their total volume is 60,000 tons in 2014, 51,000 tons in 2013. Imports from Russia also increased from last year.

Since the Chinese domestic demand growth is slow, the EU market began to accept orders from South Korea, Brazil and other places recently.
