It is reported that Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) set up the construction steel engineering research center with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) today.

CSC said that the construction steel applications development would be speeded up by the cooperation with NTUST.

CSC pointed out that the construction steel product was one of the green materials in the world for building usage, which has 15%~20% less CO2 emissions.

NTUST had helped CSC for several high effective construction steel products developments such as SN490C、SM570、LYS100 and fireproof steel products.

In the coming future, CSC and NTUST will be able to help Taiwan's construction participants to save technical problems by this new cooperation center.
