It’s reported that China Minmetals Corporation (Minmetals) planned to sell the Avebury nickel mine in Australia.

It’s known that the company started the maintenance at Avebury mine from February, 2009 after the nickel prices dropped sharply.

In the background, Minmetals acquired Avebury mine in 2009 and the annual nickel production is at 8,500 tons.
