Reportedly, Chinese Baosteel announced to leave its list prices for steel plates unchanged for May.

It’s learned that the company increased its steel plate prices by RMB150/ton for April.

According to statistics released by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in the third week, the steel plate prices in the Shanghai averaged at RMB3, 880/ton, falling by RMB80/ton; those in Guangzhou were at RMB4,000/ton, remaining flat and those in Wuhan were at RMB3,890/ton, decreasing by RMB40/ton, all compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
