The reform of export tax rebates in China impacts greatly the steel pipes and tubes industry.

Therefore, somestic manufacturers will adjust their production structure, mainly focus on high value-added products.

China has adjusted its export tax rebate policy on July 1 in order to rebalance trade and curb growing export.

The export tax rebate for normal carbon welded steel pipes and tubes will be reduced to 13 percent, and it will be decreased to 5 percent for seamless steel pipe, stainless steel pipe, steel rail, welded steel angle and steel section.
