Reportedly, the prices of cold rolled coil (CRC) in Shanghai market have remained steady, affected by raising slightly prices of hot rolled coil (HRC).

It’s known that Angang Steel’s offer of CRC in dimension of 1.0 mm is at RMB5, 350/ton; that from Benxi Iron & Steel and Wuhan Iron and Steel Corp. (WISCO) is at RMB5,250 ~RMB5,280/ton.

At the same time, news reported that BHP Billiton has requested to raise the prices of coking coals by 8% to Japan’s steel mill for next Q1, higher than the expectation. Thus, the prices of CRC have been up by RMB20/ton today in Shanghai market.
