Taiwan’s steel buyers said that China Steel Corp.’s steel list price for July and August is NT$1,000~1,500/ton higher than market price.

In Taiwan, HRC offer is currently prevailing at NT$21,500/ton, about NT$2,000/ton lower than CSC’s offer.

Steel traders said that CSC’s price was much higher than import offer, and accordingly they intended to slash orders from CSC to avoid the loss.
