In a recent public statement, the National Copper Commission of Chile (Cochilco) predicted that Chile’s copper production will achieve significant growth in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Chile's copper production is expected to increase by 5% in 2024, reaching 5.51 million tons. In the following year 2025, copper production is expected to raise by another 6%, hitting a record high of 5.84 million tons.

This forecast is not only higher than the average production over the past 10 years, but also shows Chile’s strong growth momentum as an important global copper producer.
