The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced that they were going to approve Brazil, Argentina and South Korea to obtain 232 tariff exemption quotas, and the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) affirmed it last week.

The Brazilian government would be sustained committing to keep the profits between exporters and domestic manufacturers in the US market and expected to US Government released and specified a quota exemption to Brazilian during officials from both sides met, the representatives from MDIC stated.

According to Trump's determination, the US companies could be able to apply for exemptions as long as they will be unable to supply sufficient quality and quantity of products to US’ steel and aluminum manufacturers.
