On July 7, 2025, Australia's Anti-Dumping Commission announced that anti-dumping (AD) duties on chrome bars imported from Romania will expire on September 7, 2026.

Interested parties have to submit their applications for the sunset review by September 5, 2025. Applications must provide evidence showing reasonable grounds that letting the measures expire could lead to the continuation or recurrence of the material injury they were designed to prevent.

If no applications are received by this deadline, the AD duties on Romanian chrome bars will be discontinued upon their expiration.
