Mineral Resources (MinRes), an Australian mining company, has significantly upgraded its Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves for the Onslow Iron project in Western Australia, reaffirming its quality and long-life status.

As of March 31, 2025, Onslow Iron's Mineral Resources surged by 89% from the previous statement in September 2023 to 744 million tons at 56.3% Fe. Ore Reserves also rose by 73% to 359 million tons at 57.5% Fe. The growth was due to extensive drilling and geological re-modeling, while maintaining consistent ore quality.

MinRes Managing Director Chris Ellison said the increase in figures showed the potential of Onslow Iron for decades to come. The company’s goal is to establish Onslow Iron as Australia's premier iron ore operator.
