Australian Critical Minerals, an exploration company focused on developing a portfolio of critical mineral projects in Western Australia, has discovered direct shipping ore (DSO) potential at the Shaw Project in Western Australia.

Sampling results in September and November 2024 showed high-quality samples with iron contents of 65%, 61%, and 60%, which meet DSO standards and can be used directly in iron-making blast furnaces.

The company confirmed that a high-priority area containing the majority of the high-grade results has been identified within the banded iron formation (BIF) up to 500 meters in length. A drilling program will begin in the coming weeks.

Dean de Largie, Managing Director of Australian Critical Minerals, said the results showed the area may contain top-class potentially DSO ore and supported the company's vision to develop the project into an attractive asset.
