According to the trade statistics, Australia iron ore exports totaled around 65.83 million tons in January.

Among them, Australia exported the most of iron ore to Port Hedland with around 36 million tons; followed by Port Walcott with around 15 million tons; followed by Dampier Port with around 10 million tons. The exports of lump ore accounted for 15 million tons; those of powder ore accounted for 50 million tons; those of ore pellet accounted for 160,000 tons.

China ranked first with the largest Australian iron ore exports of around 55.6 million tons; followed by Japan with around 5.9 million tons; followed by South Korea with around 2.8 million tons.
