Australian Anti-Dumping Commission (ADC) has announced to extend the deadline to October 26, 2021 for the issuance of the final report of the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on painted steel strappings from China and Vietnam for the fifth time.

The ADC also officially confirmed that Sam Hwan Vina Co., Ltd., the largest Vietnam’s exporter in this investigation, has sold its products in Australia with dumped prices, but the dumping margin was less than 2%. Therefore, the ADC decided to end the investigation on this company.

The AD investigation on the remaining businesses against China and Vietnam will continue.

The ADC has to report to the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology about this investigation on or by October 26 this year.

The initial AD investigation was launched based on an application filed by an Australian local company Signode Packaging Group Australia Pty Ltd.

The products involved are under HS codes 7212.40.00.62.
