China’s Anshan Steel announced to buy 60 percent shares of Italian Vagino's steel service centre as its first oversea steel center.

This steel center is estimated to process 100,000 tons of steel products, mostly from Anshan Steel.

Although the financial crisis in Europe damaged the interest of Anshan Steel, it is anticipated that the profit margin in EU will increase after acquiring this local steel processing center.
