Recently, Anglo American and Japanese steelmakers reached an agreement on the coking coal prices of US$285/ton for the Q4 delivery, down by 10% from a quarter earlier.

It’s known that the coking coal prices surged to the record high of US$33/ton in the Q2 due to severe flood in Australia.

However, the coking coal prices dropped to US$307/ton for the Q3 as the mines and railways have been recovered and the shipments from the US have increased.
