Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), one of the largest aluminum smelter in the world, said that it will exhibit at an aluminum exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey in order to expand its overseas markets, including Turkey, Eurasian, central Europe.

Alba aims to increase its market share in Europe. Currently, the EU sales accounted for only 15% of its total output.

Earlier Alba established an office in Zurich in order to provide better service for its EU customers.

Alba annually produces more than 870,000 tons of the highest grade aluminum including standard and T-ingots, extrusion billets, rolling slab, ingots, and molten aluminum. 45% of its output is supplied to domestic market, and the rest is supplied to overseas.
