Tosyali Algerie, one of the largest steel producers in Algeria, was committed to focusing on its exporting market. The company will ship 10,000 tons of rebar to the US. The loading work has started from May 26th, and it was expected to be completed the loading in four to five days. The vessel will depart from the Port of Mostaganem in Algeria and will be shipped to two US ports.

Tosyali Algerie has shipped 18,000 tons of rebar to Canada in early May. Market participants indicated that Tosyali Algerie was targeting North America because North America had a large market and only implemented general safeguards instead of specific duties against Algeria.
