U.S. based steelmaker AK Steel Holding Corporation said yesterday that it will increase base price for all its stainless steel products, and the new prices will take effective from March 1st.

The prices increasing is partly by reducing discount by 2% for sheet and strip products, specialty and pipe & tube application, and other steel products has increased by US$40/ton.

Meanwhile, the company has reported a net loss of US$147.1 million for the final quarter in 2015, comparing with a net income of US$13.5 million for the same period of 2015.
