Acciaierie Venete, an Italy-based producer of long steel products, has reached a contract with Danieli for a new complete wirerod production line to expand the existing steel plant in Sarezzo, Brescia. The new wirerod mill was scheduled to be put into operation in early 2025.

With Danieli’s rolling mill which mainly produces straight and coiled quality bars, the new production line expands the company’s product portfolio by producing special steel smooth rounds with diameters ranging from 5.5 mm to 25 mm at a speed up to 110 m/s.

Engineering, manufacturing, installation, on-site training, and consulting services for the complete technical supply are included in the agreement.
