USITC makes negative final AD & CVD rulings on aluminum extrusions from 14 countries

1 Nov 2024 15:28 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On October 30, 2024, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted and then determined that the US industry wasn’t materially injured or threatened with material injury by imports of aluminum extrusions from China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, and Vietnam that was determined by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) of the sales at prices lower than fair value made by the 14 countries and subsidies provided by the governments of China, Indonesia, Mexico, and Turkey.

Owing to the USITC’s negative final determinations, the USDOC will not issue the orders of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) against aluminum extrusions from the above-mentioned countries.
