Mexico starts AD sunset review on China’s carbon steel butt welded pipe fittings

On August 2, 2024, the Mexican Ministry of Economy (SE) announced the launch of the fourth sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) on carbon steel butt welded pipe fittings originating in China, regardless of the country of origin.

The period of the investigation is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024., and the injury analysis period is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2024.

The products involved are carbon steel butt welded pipe fittings, in diameters ranging from 1/2 to 16 inches (inclusive), under the tariff code 7307.93.01 of the TIGIE.

The current AD measure remains in force during the review period.
