Pure Aluminum, a Michigan-based secondary aluminum producer, has partnered with global metals and natural resources trader Traxys and sales and marketing company Consortium Metals. This collaboration aims to recycle aluminum and produce value-added products for the steel, aluminum die casting, and primary aluminum industries, including secondary aluminum specification alloys, recycled secondary ingot (RSI), wrought alloys, as well as aluminum deoxidizers.

According to the deal, Pure Aluminum will operate and expand its Saranac production facility, targeting more than 30 million pounds of aluminum scrap processing monthly. Traxys will manage global sourcing, finance, marketing, logistics, and customer relationships, while Consortium Metals will handle commercial sales and marketing.

This venture will address the growing demand for customized recycled and specialty aluminum products, meeting the companies’ commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and supply chain transparency.
