Harsco Corporation, global steel services company, recently signed a service contract with Brazilian ArcelorMittal for transaction price of US$150 million.

Harsco revealed that the company will provide smelting workshop cleaning, slag processing, metal product repair, impact testing and other services for ArcelorMittal's Tubarao plant in next 10 years.

The company mentioned that this contract was reached to help strengthen the position in Latin American market. On the other hand, ArcelorMittal Tubarao plant is mainly responsible for plates production with capacity of 7.5 million tons.
