The Dominican Republic announced on July 30th an anti-dumping investigation against imports of rebar or deformed steel bars for concrete reinforcement from Costa Rica, identified under tariff numbers 7214.10.00, 7214.20.00, 7214.30.00, 7214.91.00 and 7214.99.00.

The interested parties, foreign producers, exporters, importers and other sectors affected by the procedure, who would have a period of 30 working days to complete the forms established for such purposes and submit to the Commercial Defense Commission of the Dominican Republic the evidence and arguments that they considered pertinent. The investigation would be concluded before September 11th, 2018.
